Programme Highlights

Chinese New Year Celebration (农历新年庆祝会)
Chinese New Year was celebrated on 9th February this year to promote the understanding of Chinese traditions and customs. With a better understanding of this festival, students are more aware of the Chinese culture and the values behind the customs and traditions.

Mother Tongue Language (MTL) Fortnight (母语双周)
The objective of MTL fortnight is to nurture the joy of learning by creating a conducive environment and to provide platforms for our students to use the language. It was held in the 1st and 2nd weeks of term 2. A wide range of activities such as Chinese games booth, cultural lessons related to MTL language and culture were conducted.

Primary 4 and 5 Cultural Performances (文化随意门)
As part of their Chinese cultural learning journey, Primary 4 and 5 students will watch a drama performance. The objective of the learning journey is to enhance students’ interest in Chinese Language and culture. -
Conversational Chinese and Malay Programme
The Conversational Chinese and Malay (CCM) Programme will commence for P3 to P4 students. This is a good platform for students to strengthen bonds with their friends of different races and to appreciate Chinese and Malay cultures and values. Through the CCM programme, students will acquire basic proficiency in either Mandarin or Malay, be exposed to traditional cultures and norms of those communities through our fun and engaging cultural activities. All P3 and P4 students are encouraged to participate in this programme. -
• The P3 cultural camp (文化营)
The P3 cultural camp was held in term 1. All Primary 3 students participated in interesting programmes such as children’s literature appreciation and activities related to Chinese culture. Through a series of activities, the students experienced and learnt more about the Chinese traditional culture.
